CORTLAND, NY — Cortland had a steep hill to climb. After allowing four straight goals in the second period, the Red Dragons slowly mounted a comeback. Their surge came to a screeching halt late in the game, when Buffalo State scored on a cross-ice empty-net goal.

CORTLAND, NY — On the night of the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight, the Red Dragons knocked out the Blue Devils in three periods. It was Cortland’s youth that prevailed, with four different freshmen finding the net. A combination of holding and hooking penalties proved Fredonia struggled to slow down the Dragons.

CORTLAND, NY — With a two-goal lead and home ice advantage, the Red Dragons were unable to muzzle the Bulldogs. Adrian found the net four times in a span of six minutes, prompting Cortland Head Coach Joe Cardarelli to make a goalie change. A highlight came midway through the third period, when Dragon defenders hunkered down and killed a five-on-three power play.
